As a qualified Psychologist, I have over 13 years of experience working with Couples, Children and Families, employers and employees, and indigenous communities, presenting with a wide range of life challenges and mental health issues. I have a post-graduate Masters in Criminology through Bond University and have completed undergraduate studies at the University of Queensland and Griffith University. I use a range of techniques including but not limited to, Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy, Family Therapy, Schema Therapy, Triple P and Solution Focused Therapy. I have worked in Community Health, Employee Assistance, Headspace, Christian Counselling, and Private Practice settings. My approach is warm, personable, and friendly with the aim of empowering and motivating individuals to move towards recovery. I am currently the coordinator for the Gold Coast Mental Health Professionals Network and over the past 2 years have facilitated a variety of different professional development topics, while connecting Allied Health practitioners. I am a dedicated mental health professional who is passionate about helping individuals affected by mental illness and stressful life events to find their strengths and work-life balance. I strongly believe that by empowering people to focus on their strengths and appropriate supports, they can learn to manage their challenges in effective ways.
