CASA Class 1, 2 & 3 Aviation Medical Examinations
Coomera Town Medical Centre provides Aviation Medical Examinations for both commercial and recreational pilots. Our aviation medicals are conducted by Dr Taswar Aslam, a Designated Aviation Medical Examiner (DAME) certified by the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA).

• ECG, Audiogram, Spirometry, and Pathology Services (available onsite)
Pre-Appointment Checklist
Before attending your appointment, please ensure you:
• Complete the online medical questionnaire via your log-in to the CASA Medical Record System (MRS).
• Bring photo ID to your appointment.
• Provide a list of all medications, including prescription and over-the-counter medications.
• Supply details of your medical and surgical history if you are a new patient.
• Bring your most recent aviation medical certificate if applicable.
• Bring any recent test results (blood tests are valid for three months).
• Bring any corrective glasses or contact lenses (including a spare pair), even if you have recently seen an optometrist.
Aviation Medical Costs
• Renewals for Class 1, 2, and 3 medicals (for patients who have previously had an aviation medical with Dr Aslam) – $150
• New aviation medical assessments (for patients who have not previously seen Dr Aslam) – $180
Please note: These fees do not include the CASA administration fee or the cost of audiometry.
